Development of Information and Communication Technologies
to meet the new challenges of the wine industry
VINNOTEC is an R & D project of the Qualiméditerranée cluster.
It brings together 13 public and private partners who pool their R & D strengths to develop innovative tools and services for the wine industry.
At the heart of these tools and services offered by partners, Information and Communication Technology (ICT) to ensure both accuracy (spatial and temporal) information, the real-time responsiveness to the market and the creation of new knowledge databases on vine and wine.
Developed for the various steps in the production chain, these new products are aimed to characterize at best the state of vineyards, grapes, and fermentation (using new sensors) and then help to optimize the production processes (via decision support services).
Started in July 2007 (end in mid-2012), VINNOTEC project has received support from French National Fund (FUI), European Structural Fund (FEDER), BPI France and the Occitanie Region.
