PLS_Toolbox®, the EigenVector Research Inc‘s software is an extensive suite of essential and advanced chemometric multivariate analysis tools required by chemical engineers, analytical chemists and other scientists to fully utilize their data and build predictive models.
The software provides an integrated graphical interface to the MATLAB® environment containing the majority of available chemometric tools, and also provides additional command-line functionality. This software thus links a user-friendly interface and the possibility of more advanced programming under MATLAB®.
If you are not a MATLAB® user, all chemometrics functionality of the interface is available with the Solo® standalone software.

The SPM® Salford Predictive Modeler software suite, developed by Salford Systems – a Minitab® company, is a highly accurate and ultra-fast platform for developing predictive, descriptive, and analytical models from databases and datasets of any size, complexity, or organization. The software, developed by , permet de développer des modèles prédictifs, descriptifs et analytiques à partir de bases de données et lots de données de toutes tailles et complexités.

Multivariate data analysis and statistical software

But, ChemFlow was not designed to be integrated into industrial processes because:
- its client / server operation excludes a local and internal use;
- the functions used are based on free software so without any warranty and any support service;
- despite the taken precautions to ensure the continuity of the service, interruptions linked to a server overload or a data hacking can occur.
R is a free and open source software environment for statistical computing and graphics.
R provides a wide variety of statistical (linear and nonlinear modelling, classical statistical tests, time-series analysis, classification, clustering, …) and graphical techniques, and is highly extensible.
It is also a powerful and scalable tool, well suited for the implementation of statistical methods. However, it is more difficult to access than most commercial software because it is not designed to be used with mouse <clicks> in menus, but by programming lines of code and the use of already programmed Packages.
